Mjkj Foundation For Education

Mjkj Foundation was funded by the Balochistan Education Foundation and we are running different schools in district of Balochistan To establish non-formal Education Centers Home Schools and other centers of learning at poor rural areas and urban slums.

  • Non-formal Education Centers: We have established non-formal educational centers at our target areas. 12 centers are at rural areas and 4 at urban poor areas. We are running these learning centers with the participatory efforts of the local communities i.e. parents, influential, social workers and young volunteers. People are taking their keen interest in this living activity. They are knitting long term dreams in their all the way empty eyes for their children, they are feeling positive and meaningful impacts of these activities. People and especially young boys and girls are getting use to of being a volunteer and our tool of volunteerism is paying a lot in the interest of these poor communities.
  • Solidarity Actions: We perform Inter-active theatre activities to sensitize the poor communities for their socio-eco-cul-political rights and try to aware them of their situations they are locked with. We also perform struggling and community songs as a tool of analysis at community level and at different Seminars and training workshops. Provide support to individuals in crisis, legal assistance and advice through our associated lawyers and by linkages with other such organizations.
  • Advocacy for Capacity Building: We are working at 12 working areas (Killis) 8 rural surroundings and 4 urban slums. As a strategic step, we have established 12 Community Based Organizations of our Foundation and are working for their NGOs oriented capacity building through different advocacy tools i.e. structural analysis, tools of analysis, fieldwork and ten steps of mobilization. We are trying to empower the local communities enabling them to work for their basic burning issues at participatory level and to encourage the community based leadership to look into their social matters by their own struggle, analysis, opinions and priorities.
